Special syndicate meeting at Rabindra University: Indefinite closure announced

The Rabindra University founded in the name of universal poet Rabindranath Tagore at Shahjadpur in Sirajganj has been declared closed indefinitely.Professor Rabindra Upacharya.
This decision was taken in a special syndicate meeting held under the chairmanship of Md Shah Azam.The special syndicate meeting was held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, July 17, at Rabindra University's administrative building-1.
In the Syndicate meeting, as per the decision of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, considering the safety of the students, it was decided to close the educational program of Rabindra University until further orders.At the same time, for the sake of the students' safety, instructions are given to leave the residence hall and stay in a safe place.'
In this regard, Rabindra Vice Chancellor Shah Azam said, We have organized a special syndicate meeting today considering the safety of all students of Rabindra University very seriously.Considering the fact that our students do not live in insecurity, we have directed them to stay in safe accommodation.
Our teachers have been performing their duties since yesterday to ensure the safety of the students and will continue to perform their duties today until the students return.
