Bogura Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam said that today's children will help to build Smart Bangladesh in the future. It is not possible to build a smart Bangladesh without education.

Therefore, students should attend school 100% and come forward to receive education. He said to parents, limit your child's use of smart phones. Encourage my child to watch various educational content including teacher input on education and send the child to school regularly. Then your child will play an important role in the development of this country.

Nowadays many students are indulging in anti-social activities and running into danger due to misuse of digital devices. Therefore, he urged the parents to be careful in using the digital devices of the students.

He said the above words in the speech of the chief guest at the distribution ceremony of clothes, school bags and sports materials at Natmarichai (Bhurghata) Government Primary School of the municipality organized by Shibganj upazila administration on Thursday noon.

Upazila Chairman Firoz Ahmed Riju, Upazila Executive Officer Tahmina Akhtar, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tasnimuzzaman, Upazila Awami League President Mostafizar Rahman Mosta, General Secretary and newly-elected Municipal Mayor Touhidur Rahman Manik, Assistant Education Officer Emdadul Haque, Acting Mayor Abu Saeed, Head Teacher Raich Uddin Prang and others spoke in the event presided over by school president Mofizul Islam Palash.

Later, under the arrangement of the Upazila Parishad, the chief guest Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam distributed wheel chairs to the special needs people of different unions of the upazila, sewing machines to the helpless women, vans for the rehabilitation of the poor people, sports goods to educational institutions and clubs and brunch to different schools.

After that, the Deputy Commissioner met with officials and employees of various government departments in the Upazila Parishad hall room. Before this, the chief guest visited Shibganj police station at 11 am.
