Shelly of Baniachong wins South Asian Boxing

Daughter Tanzima Sultana Shelly in Baniachong has won the Universal Boxing Championship 2022 -The South Asian Knockout Challenge.
Shelly won the boxing competition held at the Sheikh Russell Roller Skating Complex in Dhaka by defeating Rangpur's Sharmin Akhter Rumki on Friday.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Hasan Russell MP was present as Chief Guest in the competition.
Baniachong Boxing Club Coach Jewel Rahman, team manager and joint General Secretary of Baniachong Upazila Sports Association Sahibur Rahman were present. Due to his enthusiasm, motivation and skillful leadership, the boxing and women's football teams of Baniachong are participating in various competitions and gaining success. On the other hand, Lipi Sultana Moni, another boxer from Baniachong was keeping time in the competition.
Later, the chief guest and other guests who came to the competition gave cash prizes along with medals to the winners.
