Deputy Minister of Water Resources AKM Enamul Haque Shamim, Awami League nominated boat symbol candidate for Shariatpur-2 Constituency in the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections said that Bangladesh Awami League is united under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina and the people of the country also trust her.

He said these things in an election-related exchange meeting with journalists held at the Nariya Upazila Awami League office in Shariatpur on Wednesday at 10 am.

In his speech, he highlighted the various developments of the current government of Shariatpur. He said, prevention of Padma river, construction of Naria upazila health complex, conservation of Kirtinasha river bank, electrification of Charatra and Naopara areas of two unions in remote grasslands through submarine cable, protection of Sakhipur area from Padma river, prevention of Padma river in Naria-Jazira area, approx. He highlighted various developments including the construction of hundreds of school buildings, roads, bridge culverts, hundred percent elderly allowance, widow allowance. He also said that there are no Awami League leaders and activists with the independent candidate of Shariatpur-2 constituency. So he is creating chaos with identified terrorists of BNP.

He urged all the voters to vote on the boat to continue the trend of development. Shariatpur-3 Constituency Member of Parliament Nahim Razzak, Zilla Parishad Chairman and District Awami League President Chhabedur Rahman Khoka Sikdar, District Awami League General Secretary Anal Kumar Dey, Awami League Leaders including former Member of Parliament Navana Islam and media journalists working in Shariatpur were present.
