Severed body recovered in Louhajong

A severed human body has been found in Louhajong, near the toll plaza of the Padma Bridge, beside the road leading to Medini Mandal Anwar Chowdhury School. Detectives from the Munshiganj DB Police rushed to the scene after receiving the report.According to OC Md. Zakir Hossain of Padma Bridge North Police Station, locals discovered parts of a human body inside cardboard boxes on Friday afternoon and immediately informed the police. Upon arrival, the police found a human head in one box and other body parts in a separate one. However, they have not yet completed the inquest report as they are awaiting the Crime Scene Unit.Earlier the same day, additional body parts believed to belong to the same individual were discovered in Keraniganj, Dhaka. Authorities suspect that all parts are from the same body. The Crime Scene Unit will arrive from Keraniganj to Mawa to conduct a full investigation and try to determine the victim's identity.It is still unclear under which police station jurisdiction the case will be filed. The decision will be made following consultation with higher authorities.
