Senior secretary Monjur Hossain pays tributes to Bangabandhu at Tungipara

The senior secretary of the Bridges Division of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and the executive director of Bangladesh Bridge Authority Md. Monjur Hossain today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
After laying the wreath, the senior secretary stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation.
Later, he offered prayer seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975.
A special prayer was offered seeking longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members.
The senior secretary signed the visitors' book at the administrative building of Tungipara Mausoleum Complex.
Officials of the Bridge Division of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, Tungipara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Moinul Haque, Executive Magistrate of the Gopalganj District Commissioner's Office Ronti Poddar, among others, were present.
