Seeds, fertilizers, seedlings distributed among farmers at Rampal

Various types of seeds and fertilizers of high yielding varieties have been distributed among the farmers under the incentive program during the financial year 2022-2023 at Rampal in Bagerhat. Deputy Minister of Forest, Environment and Climate Change Affairs Habibun-Nahar MP distributed these materials as the chief guest at the upazila agriculture office auditorium at 9 am on Sunday.
Under the chairmanship of Rampal Upazila Nirbahi Officer Najibul Alam, the upazila chairman Sheikh Moazzem Hossain, vice chairman Nurul Haque Lipon, female vice chairman Hosne Ara Milli, agriculture officer Md. Oliul Islam, Rampal Thana Officer-in-Charge S, M Ashraful Alam and others.
At this time, 1 thousand 100 farmers were given 5 kg of Aman variety Ufshi seeds, 10 kg of DAP fertilizer, 10 kg of MOP fertilizer, 70 farmers were given 2 kg of Amon hybrid and 5 coconut seedlings were given to 550 farmers. Rampal Upazila Agriculture Officer Oliul Islam said that urgent measures have been taken to ensure that farmers can plant Aman rice on time in the upcoming monsoon season. The Deputy Minister said that the government has taken all kinds of measures for forestry in this coastal upazila.
We are empowering farmers with training and tools. Agricultural Extension Officer, Assistant Agricultural Officer and beneficiary farmers were present in the event.
