Prime Minister's Advisor on Private Industries and Investments and Member of Parliament of Dhaka-1 Constituency Salman F. Rahman said that a developed, prosperous and smart Bangladesh will be built by 2041.

With Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's far-reaching thinking and efficient leadership, we all have to work together to build a smart gold Bangladesh by 2041. Let this be our conviction in view of Independence Day.

He said this in the speech of the chief guest at the reception, discussion and prayer ceremony of the brave freedom fighters on the Great Independence Day and National Day in the hall of Sutarpara Model Mosque of Dohar Upazila on Tuesday noon.

He also said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Bangladesh will be developed and prosperous, our government will be a smart government, the wheels of the economy will turn and stand smart economy, our social system will be a smart society. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working towards this goal.

He said, Bangabandhu and the independence of Bangladesh are one and the same. Bangabandhu brought freedom to Bangladesh, the country became independent under the leadership of Bangabandhu. Freedom fighters are the most respected in our country. They responded to the call of the father of the nation and risked their lives to bring us victory. It is a matter of our pride to honor them. Irrespective of party affiliation, he requested the stakeholders to ensure that no one is deprived of all the benefits of the freedom fighters and that there is no loss.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has recognized March 25 as Genocide Day. Today we pay respect to those martyrs. On this day, our oath is to establish the non-communal spirit on which Bangladesh gained independence under the leadership of Bangabandhu.

Today's vow is to uproot all the communalism of today, to get Bangladesh to its dream destination under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter, Sheikh Hasina, by exterminating the conspirators against the country's independence and sovereignty.

Doha Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Zakir Hossain was also present as a special guest in the event, Sheikh Anar Koli Putul, Member of Parliament of Dhaka Reserved Constituency and Joint General Editor of Central Jubo Mahila League, Doha Upazila Parishad Chairman and Upazila Awami League President Md Alamgir Hossain, Doha Circle. Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Md. Ashraful Alam, Town Mayor Md. Almach Uddin, General Editor of Upzilla Awami League Md. Nurul Haque Bepari, Freedom Fighters former Commander Rajab Ali Molla and SM Mohiuddin.

Doha Upazila Animal Resources Officer Md. Shamim Hossain and Upazila Women Affairs Officer Sabrina Lakir were also present as guests, Upazila Health and Planning Officer Dr. Jasim Uddin, Doha Thana Officer-in-Charge Md. Harun Or Rashid, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land ) ) Md. Mamun Khan, Chairman of various unions and leaders of allied organizations were present.

After the reception and discussion, the chief guest handed over the awards to the brave freedom fighters.

Earlier, on the occasion of the Great Independence and National Day, at 11:30 am, he paid tribute to the portrait of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, at Dohar Upazila premises.
