A social organization called "Step Up for Tomorrow" has distributed relief items to the flood-affected people of Nagbeshri Upazila in Kurigram.

Seven days of dry food were delivered to 150 families, each with provisions for five people. The food included Orsaline, diarrhea medicine, Napa Extend, flattened rice, jaggery, and candles.

On Thursday afternoon, the organization provided relief items to 150 flood-affected families. The members of this organization have extended their helping hand by crowdfunding to support the flood-affected people. They undertake these challenging tasks entirely on their own initiative.

Mubaswira Tasnim, the founder of "Step Up for Tomorrow," who has taken a vow of human service, said that by the end of 2023, they started working on climate change and climate justice, mental health, the protection of women and children's rights, and youth development. Over time, many youths have joined this great cause. "We always stand by society and the people of the society," she stated.

The relief provided to these flood victims was fully financed by crowdfunding. This year, they started the project named StepUp 4 Nature's Fury. "If someone from higher up supports us, we will keep the project going," she added.

Nujhat E Jahan, an active member of the organization, expressed her opinion, "We voluntarily participated in this work and stood by the flood victims with the money we raised through crowdfunding and our contributions."

During this time, the Executive Director of the organization, Mejbahul Hasan Rifat, Treasurer Faria Khatun Parash, and members Sohag Kumar, Istiaq Ahmed Lion, Ankur Mahmud, Al Amin Sarkar, Mehdi Al Hasan, Rabiul Islam, and others were present.
