Rear Admiral Masud Iqbal new chairman of Payra Port

The government has appointed Bangladesh Navy Rear Admiral Masud Iqbal as the chairman of Payra Port Authority.
This information was confirmed in an order of the Ministry of Public Administration on December 17.
He was appointed to this post on deputation and his service was assigned to the Ministry of Shipping.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification to return the chairman of Payra Port Authority, Rear Admiral Abdullah Al Mamun Chowdhury, to the Navy and assign his service to the Armed Forces Division.
In a separate notification, Captain Md. Zahid Hossain, member of Payra Port Authority (Harbor and Marine), has been assigned to the Armed Forces Division to take him back to the Navy. And Captain Mohammad Jamal Uddin Chowdhury was assigned to the Ministry of Shipping to appoint him to this post.
