Rangpur Divisional Workshop was held successfully at Karim Uddin Public (KUP) High School in Kaligonj, Lalmonirhat on 26 November, 2022 Saturday.

The president of Bangladesh Scrabble Association and the Headmaster of Karim Uddin Public High School, Kaligonj, Lalmonirhat Mr. Khurshiduzzaman Ahmed conducted the day-long workshop.

The workshop was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Holy Gita. The vice president of Bangladesh Scrabble Association and Principal of Robertsongonj School & College Mr. Zakir Hossain inaugurated the workshop with his valuable as well as instructive speech.

The secretary general of Bangladesh Scrabble Association and the Headmaster of Syed Kutub Jalal Model High School, Sylhet Mr. Abdul Malik Raju also connected with the workshop through video call and gave his valuable speech. About 20 trainee teachers from various school of Rangpur division attended the workshop.

It is necessary to say that scrabble is nothing but a word making game. This scrabble helps the students to increase their vocabulary. This very popular for the students in many countries of the world.

The 2nd phase of the workshop was hands to hand-training of trainee teachers. In this regard, a group of skilled and smart students of Karim Uddin Public High School play an important role in teaching Scrabble by hand to hand the teacher trainees.

At the end of the workshop the president of Bangladesh Scrabble Association and the Headmaster of Karim Uddin Public School Mr. Khurshiduzzaman Ahmed cordially requested the trainee teachers to build scrabble teams in the respective schools.
