Rangamati Science and Tech University Group 'A' Unit admission test held

Rangamati University of Science and Technology has conducted the admission test for the 'A' unit of the academic year 2022-2023.

This examination was held simultaneously in 9 centers including Rangamati University of Science and Technology examination center from 12 noon on Saturday (June 3). In the 3rd round, 7 thousand 520 students participated in the admission test of A-Unit in Rangamati University of Science and Technology on Saturday.

University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Selina Akhtar and Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Kanchan Chakma visited various examination centers. Besides, University Registrar Mohammad Yusuf, Proctor Mr. Jewel Sikder and Focal Point of GST Unit of Rabiprabi Dr. Nikhil Chakma visited various examination centers.

Selina Akhtar, VC of Rangamati Science and Technology University, said that 7,520 candidates took part in this year's Science and Technology University admission test today, June 3, in the 'A' unit.

Besides, 8 thousand 880 students participated in the admission test in 'B' unit on May 20 and 3 thousand 20 students participated in the admission test in 'C' unit on May 27. This exam has been conducted in Rangamati in total three rounds.

As the admission test of this unit was successfully completed, the Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Selina Akhtar expressed her thanks and gratitude to all the teachers-officers-employees, district administration, police administration, sub-centre heads, sub-centre coordinators, volunteers, media persons and all those who cooperated in the examination related work.

Meanwhile, Rangamati Residential Hotel Traders Multipurpose Cooperative Society has announced a 20 percent discount on hotels and motels for students for the admission test of the Rangamati University of Science and Technology for the academic year 2022-2023.

Besides, Rangamati District Autorickshaw Workers Union and Chalak Kalyan Samiti have given instructions to collect fair fares for CNG-powered autorickshaws. At the same time, the district police superintendent has strengthened the security for the students.
