National and International Youth Day was celebrated in Manikchhari of Khagrachari with the theme 'Technology-based youth power, progress in multilateral partnership' through rally, oath-taking, discussion meeting, certificate and youth loan distribution.
On the occasion of the day, on Tuesday at 10 am, a rally was taken out at the Upazila Parishad premises with the participation of members of various youth organizations and entrepreneurs after the oath-taking.
The rally went around the Parishad area and met at the Upazila Auditorium for a discussion meeting. The discussion meeting, chaired by UNO Tahmina Afroz Bhuiyan and with a welcome speech by Youth Development Officer Deb Prasad Dutta, was attended by Upazila Assistant Commissioner ( Land) Syed Safkat Ali and Upazila Engineer Mohabbat Ali.
