Provide info on attackers on lives and properties: DMP chief

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman has urged the city dwellers to provide information about those who are damaging lives and properties in the name of political movement.
“Please provide us information about those who are damaging lives and properties in the name of the blockade. Please help police arrest them,” Habib said while paying a courtesy call to the executive committee of the Crime Reporters Association of Bangladesh (CRAB) at his office on Wednesday afternoon.
Terming the blockade enforced by BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami as unconstitutional and anti-people, the DMP chief said that police will bring those involved in subversive acts during the blockade to book.
It may be mentioned that the executive members of the CRAB are headed by its President Mirza Mehedi Tamal, and General Secretary Mamunur Rashid.
