Prayer for recovery of Khaleda Zia, blankets distributed to cold-hit people in Sariakandi

A prayer was held in Sariakandi seeking early recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and blankets were distributed among the poor and needy people.
On Wednesday afternoon, a discussion meeting was held in Fulbari village of Fulbari Union of Upazila to implement Tarek Rahman's 31 points. Sariakandi-Sonatlar Rupkar spoke as the chief guest, BNP leader Joglul Ahsan, retired colonel. He spoke as the main speaker at that time. Former chairman of Sariakandi Upazila Parishad and former president of Sariakandi Upazila BNP Masudur Rahman Hiru Mandal.
At the end of the discussion meeting, blankets were distributed among the poor and needy people of Phulbari Union.
The chief guest of the discussion meeting, retired Colonel Jaglul Ahsan said, Jal Jyosna is a three-storey combined free medical clinic, restaurant and resort system. Half of the income of this institution will be spent for the welfare of the common people of Yamuna Char area.
