Popular Life Insurance wins anti-drug award

A discussion meeting and prize distribution were held on the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2023, organized by the Directorate of Narcotics Control, at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Auditorium in the city on Sunday.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, MP was the chief guest on the occasion.
Benazir Ahmed, MP, President of the Standing Committee on Ministry of Home Affairs and Md. Abdullah Al Masud Chowdhury, Secretary of the Security Services Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs were the special guests.
Director General of Narcotics Control Department (Grade-1) Md. Abdul Wahab Bhuya presided over the event.
Popular Life Insurance Company Limited was awarded the first prize for its active role in countrywide anti-drug activities to prevent drug abuse and successful programs in human bonding and rallies on the occasion of International Anti-Drug Day 2023.
