Police Super distributes relief in Baniachong

Habiganj Superintendent of Police SM Murad Ali distributed relief items among the flood victims in Baniachang.
On Wednesday (June 29), he distributed dry food to Banavasi families in Chamakpur, Baghata and surrounding villages in Kagapasha Union No.6 of the upazila.
He also distributed cooked food and clean drinking water to about 500 flood victims in various shelters in the area.
Additional Superintendent of Police Palash Ranjan Dey of Baniachang Circle, Officer-in-Charge of Baniachang Police Station Mohammad Emran Hossain, Chairman of Kagapasha Union Parishad Ershad Ali and others were with him during the distribution of relief items.
The police super visited various villages in the flood-hit haor, observed the livelihood of the people of the haor and exchanged views with them after hearing about their joys and sorrows.
