Police recovered 168 mobiles, returned it to real owners in Satkhira

Police have recovered the lost and stolen mobile phones and money lost through bKash fraud in two months in Satkhira through the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell and handed them over to the rightful owners.

Satkhira Police Super Kazi Moniruzzaman officially handed over 168 mobile phones and Tk 2 lakh 31 thousand cash recovered in February-March of this year to the real owners at Satkhira Police Lines Drill Set at 11 am on Thursday.

At this time, Superintendent of Police Kazi Moniruzzaman said that the police are working day and night to protect people's lives and property. In view of receiving 195 applications from 8 police stations of the district, Satkhira managed to recover 168 mobile phones through cyber crime investigation. The estimated value of which is Tk 25 lakh 20 thousand, apart from this we have been able to return Tk 2 lakh 31 thousand lost cash to the original owners through development. In this the police has made a significant contribution to the common people.

The police have to work tirelessly to recover a mobile. Our aim is to serve the people. At this time, the Superintendent of Police advised everyone to be careful with their belongings.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Md. Sajib Khan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime of Ops) Satkhira Atiqul Islam, District Police DIO One Md. Yasin Alam Chowdhury, Cyber Crime Investigation In-charge Ohidul Islam and others were present at this time.
