Plantation campaign at IU

A daylong tree plantation and open quiz competition was held at Islamic University in Kushtia.
Youth organization Green Voice of Islamic University organized the campaign on Monday.
The campaign was held under the leadership of Mokhlesur Rahman Sweet,The president IU Green Voice. The members of the organization have planted 'Jarul and Shimul' trees.
The Quiz competition program was held in front of the university gymnasium. Winners- Billal Hossain of pharmacy department and Fakhrul Islam of the same department. Emanul Sohan, Joint Secretary of Journalist Association of Islami University, was present as a Guest.
The president of IU Green Voice Mokhalsur Rahman Sweet said, 'On Environment Day, we should take this tree planting program by taking care of nature. Environmental quiz competitions are conducted to protect the environment and increase public awareness.'
