One killed in head-on collision between motorcycle and lorry in Shahjadpur

A motorcycle driver named Inzamul Haque (23) was killed on the spot and two others were injured in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and an oil lorry in Ullapara of Sirajganj on Wednesday.
An oil truck and a motorcycle collided on Dhaka-Pabna highway near Chowkidah road bridge of Ullapara upazila.
The deceased was the son of Nazrul Islam Naju of Pecharpara village of Inzamul Ullapara upazila.He has completed honors from Sirajganj Islamia Government College this year. Naim Hossain (18) and Siam (20), the two riders of the injured motorcycle, have been admitted to Ullapara 30-bed hospital.
Hatikumrul Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Badrul Kabir said that at the time of the incident, Inzamul was returning home from Ullapara with Naim and Siam on a motorcycle.Meanwhile, a motorcycle collided head on with an oil lorry going to Baghabari from Sirajganj road.Inzamul died on the spot.
The other two passengers have been admitted to Ullapara 30-bed hospital.The dead body of Inzamul has been sent to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy.The police have arrested the killer.The truck driver escaped during the accident.
