Nutrition For Change launches digital awareness campaign on World Food Day
Staff Correspondent
Marking the World Food Day 2025, on Tuesday Nutrition For Change launched a modern and interactive digital awareness initiative on “Scan For Change.” Instead of organizing a conventional event.
The organization adopted a community-based digital engagement model to promote healthy and sustainable food habits.
Posters featuring catchy captions and QR codes were placed in key public areas across Bashundhara Residential Area, Dhanmondi, Azimpur, and Narayanganj.
These locations popular among morning walkers, tea stalls, and community gatherings were strategically chosen to reach people in their daily environments.
The QR codes direct viewers to blogs and social media content developed by Nutrition For Change, focusing on balanced diets, reducing food waste, conscious eating, and sustainable food systems. Interestingly, the posters carried no organizational logo, reflecting the campaign’s emphasis on message over marketing.
A representative from the organization said, we wanted awareness to be spontaneous — people scan, learn, and think. That’s how real change begins.
Following positive public engagement, Nutrition For Change plans to expand this initiative nationwide, reaffirming its commitment to innovative, accessible, and technology-driven nutrition education for all.
