Nilphamari -3 : Central Jubo League leader Pavel to contest as independent candidate

Saddam Hossain Pavel has filed nomination form as an independent candidate from Nilphamari-3 Constituency (Jaldhaka) for not getting nomination of Awami League in the 12th National Parliament election.
His fellow leaders and activists picked up the nomination form on behalf of Pavel from the Jaldhaka Upazila Nirbahi Officer's office yesterday afternoon. Saddam Hossain Pavel himself confirmed the matter today (February 28).
He said, Jaldhaka is my area. After my father's death, my family and I struggled against evil forces for a long time. Worked in the area. Tried to help the people of the area in various ways. So I have withdrawn the nomination form as an independent candidate for Nilphamari-3 seat.
Saddam Hossain Pavel is serving as the relief and social welfare secretary of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Central Committee.
Pavel bought the nomination form of Awami League from 14 Nilphamari-3 constituencies this time. Former Member of Parliament and President of Upazila Awami League Professor Golam Mostafa got the boat ticket in this constituency.
However, the Awami supporters are claiming that Pavel has been doing anti-boat behavior before and will continue to do so because those who believe in Bangabandhu's ideals will never go beyond the leader's decision.
