Newly-appointed LGD Secretary pays homage to Bangabandhu

Newly appointed Local Government Division Secretary Abu Hena Morshed Zaman paid homage at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi-32 in the capital on Sunday.
After paying floral tributes, he stood some time with silence in front of the portrait of Bangabandhu.
Later, Abu Hena Morshed Zaman offered prayers seeking eternal salvation of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and his family members assassinated on August 15 in 1975.
Local Government Division Additional Secretaries Dr. Md. Sher Ali, Dr. Md. Aminur Rahman and AHM Kamruzzaman; DG Dr. Md. Sarwar Bari, National Institute of Local Government DG Manoj Kumar Roy, Local Government Engineering Department’s Chief Engineer Md. Ali Akhtar Hossain, DPHE Chief Engineer Tushar Mohan Sadhu, among others, were present at that time.
