New vice-chancellors appointed to Agricultural University, Rabindra University, and Islamic Arabic University

The Ministry of Education has appointed new vice-chancellors to the Bangladesh Agricultural University, Rabindra University, and Islamic Arabic University.
The appointments for four-year terms were made in separate notices from the ministry on Thursday.
Prof AK Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan of the BAU Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics is its new vice-chancellor.
Prof SM Hassan Talukder, chairman of the Dhaka University Department of Law, is the new vice-chancellor at RUB.
Prof Md Shamsul Alam of the DU Department of Islamic Studies is the new vice-chancellor at IAU.
Universities across the country lost many senior administrative staff members after the government changeover in August as vice-chancellors, proctors, hall principals, and deans resigned.
The interim government has now begun to make appointments to senior positions.
New vice-chancellors have been appointed at Dhaka University, Jahangirnagar University, Rajshahi University, Jagannath University, the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Begum Rokeya University, Maulana Bhashani Science and Technology University, the Noakhali University of Science and Technology, the Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University and several others.
