The new committee of the Bangladesh Tarun Column Lekhok Forum (BTCLF), National University Unit, for the 2025–26 session has been announced.

In the newly formed committee, Humaira Khanam Jerin, a student of the Department of Sociology at Chittagong College (Session 2021–22), has been nominated as president, while Tarek Al Muntasir, a student of the Department of Bangla at Cox’s Bazar Government College (Session 2023–24), has been nominated as General Secretary.

The announcement came through a press release signed by the organization’s central president M. Sajib Prodhan and general secretary Md. Abdur Rahim on Thursday. . The newly ;nominated leaders have been instructed to form a full-fledged committee within the next seven working days.

Newly- nominated President Humaira Khanam Jerin, who served as the finance secretary in the previous session, expressed her gratitude and said, “With everyone’s collective efforts, I will work to achieve the goals and vision of the Forum and continue to promote creative activities as before.”

Meanwhile, newly- nominated General Secretary Tarek Al Muntasir, who previously served as the assistant organizational secretary and was awarded Organizer of the Year, said, “I will keep working for the development of every member. With everyone’s guidance and cooperation, I hope to make this Forum a strong and exemplary organization.”

Founded in 2018, the Bangladesh Tarun Column Lekhok Forum has been fostering young writers by providing mentorship, assistance in publication, and organizing seminars and workshops to enhance writing and journalistic skills.
