The Remians Brotherhood Society at Jagannath University (JnU) has formed its new committee for the upcoming year. As per the election results, Asif Hasan, a student of the Department of Law, has been elected as the president, and Alif Abu Bakar Siddique, a student of the Department of Islamic History and Culture, has been elected as the general secretary.

The election was held on Thursday, December 5th. A total of four candidates contested for two positions in the election.

Ragib Shahriar Rafi, the Election Commissioner of the organization, stated, "Our platform, 'JnU Remians,' aims to strengthen the sense of brotherhood among the Remians. Through this platform, we hope to leave a lasting mark of unity at Jagannath University. We believe that our platform, with everyone's collective effort, will rise to greater heights and be part of the list of non-political, non-profit, student-friendly organizations of the university."

Another Election Commissioner, Shafayet Nabil, mentioned, "The organization will engage in various training programs, workshops, and competitive events, as well as address career-related topics. Our goal is to build constructive relationships between colleges and universities."

The newly elected president, Asif Hasan, pledged to work tirelessly to further strengthen the Remians Brotherhood and foster greater unity and friendship among members. "I believe this organization is a source of pride for our university, and through our collective efforts, it will become even more prosperous. Together, we will take this Brotherhood forward with meaningful and inspiring initiatives," he said.

General Secretary Alif Abu Bakar Siddique expressed his commitment to addressing the needs and expectations of the members. "I aim to minimize the gap between what our members expect and what they receive.

By working together, we hope to contribute significantly to the success and progress of this organization in the coming days," he stated.
