Narsingdi Sadar BCL committee, counter-programme of two groups

Narsingdi Sadar Thana Chhatra League committee announced a counter-protest and human chain between the two sides of the organization at the same place.
The protest was held in front of the Narsingdi Press Club on Thursday (September 29) at noon. The two sides clashed several times with the police.
It is known that Narsingdi District Chhatra League has been controlled by two parties for quite some time. District Chhatra League President Ahsanul Islam Rimon and General Secretary Shahajalal Ahmed Shawon controlled one side.
The other side is under the control of the vice president of the organization Sarwar Hossain Faisal and Shibbir Ahmed Shibli. Recently, the District Chhatra League President and General Secretary Sakshrit Chhatra League announced the Narsingdi Sadar Thana Chhatra League Committee.
Faisal and Shibli group staged human chain and protest demanding cancellation of the committee stating that this committee is fake and organizational rules were not followed. After their human chain, members of Rimon and Shaon groups also came and protested at the same place.
They claim that the announced committee has followed the organizational rules. The police removed the two groups from the front of the press club before the protest and human chain ended.
