In Narsingdi-4 (Manohardi-Belabo) Constituency, an election rally was held at Manohardi Bus Stand with about 20,000 supporters of Awami League candidate Industries Minister Advocate Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun on Wednesday afternoon.

The procession circumambulated various important roads of the upazila. At this time, the crowd came down in support of the boats on the road. The supporters of the boats dressed up in various costumes and took part in the procession with banners and festoons.

Industries Minister Advocate Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun said in the meeting, "Many people are stuck in the net of conspiracy. You come out of them." No conspiracy can stop the boat. The people of the country have no choice but the boat.

Industry minister said, as a minister, I have developed Narsingdi district like the rest of the country. Even though the people of BNP-Jamaat see these developments, some of the ignorant people of my party do not see these developments, they will not see them. The pro-independence forces and young society are united today. Young society knows how to build Smart Bangladesh from Digital Bangladesh.

On the occasion of the mass boat procession, the leaders and activists from different unions of the upazila and different wards of the municipality gathered at the Manohardi bus stand with a procession. At 3 pm the venue was filled to the brim. At this time, the assembly hall became full of activists.

In the meeting, Golap Mia, a supporter of the boat from Hafizpur of Chalakchar Union, was spoken to. He said, although Humayun Bhai is our MP, he is a national leader. The leader sees him as a brother. After becoming a minister, he developed roads, schools, colleges and madrasa temples in the area. Therefore, we want to believe in actual results rather than words.

Akkach Ali, another supporter of the boat coming from Chermandalia of the upazila, said that the old Brahmaputra river near us had dried up. The minister dug that river so now there is water in the river all year round. We can use that water on land. There is no shortage of fertilizer. Even though many were MPs before him, no one thought about the farmers. Therefore, we want to vote for the farmers' friend Industry Minister Humayun Bhai as an MP again.

District Awami League Vice President Khairul Majid Mahmud Chandan, Joint General Secretary Nazrul Majid Mahmud Swapan, Manohardi Upazila Awami League President Advocate Fazlul Haque, General Secretary Priyashish Roy, Upazila Awami League Joint General Secretary Manjurul Majid Mahmud Sadi, among others were present. Joint General Secretary Manohardi Municipality Mayor Aminur Rashid Sujan and Belab Upazila Parishad Chairman Samsher Zaman Bhuja Riton were present.
