A special meeting of the organizers of Nakla Marathon was held to successfully complete the Nakla 10 km marathon race-2023 in Sherpur on Friday night at 8 pm. The meeting was held in the office room of Nakla Press Club on the second floor of Upazila Muktijoddha Complex.

The main coordinator of Nakla Marathon Group and the owner of SK Network & Communications Md Khairul Islam presided over the meeting. Coordinator of the marathon group and the president of the Human Rights Organization (Amader Ayen) of Nakla unit Rashedul Kibria conducted the program. Sports organizer and journalist Mohammad Farukuzzaman Farooq spoke as the main speaker in the meeting.

Among others, the president of Nakla Press Club and the organizational secretary of Bangabandhu Education-Research Parishad Nakla Upazila Unit Md Musharaf Hossain, President Upazia Swecchasebak League and of GS of Nakla Press Club Musharraf Hossain Sarkar Babu, GS of Upazia Swecchasebak League and Joint GS of Nakla Press Club Nasir Uddin, Convener of Upazila Chhatra League health conscious Abu Hamza Kanak, Organizing Secretary of Nakla Press Club Noor Hossain, Human Rights Organization (Amader Ayen) of Nakla unit GS Mokib Hossain Mamun, Clean Up Bangladesh Nakla Unit coordinator and press club finance secretary Abdullah Al-Amin, footballer Abdul Ahad and many others spoke in the meeting.

More than half a hundred health conscious and sports minded people from different areas of the upazila were present in the meeting. Several decisions were taken unanimously in the meeting.

It is known that the 10 km marathon race will be held in three groups. 15 to 29 year olds will participate in 'A' group; 30 to 44 year olds in 'B' group and 45 to 60 year old contestants will participate in 'C' group.

The 10 km marathon will be held on February 11 (Saturday) next year 2023. The marathon race will be held from Garergaon Bangabandhu Chatter to Paiska Bypass Mor of Dhaka-Sherpur Highway (Go and Come Back).

One full sleeve T-shirt with an attractive design for all contestants. Good luck prizes for all the correct finishers of this marathon race, and 20 winners will get attractive prizes.
