In Narayanganj, there has been an internal conflict between the leaders and activists of Hefazte Islam in the district and the city. One section announced the new committee, while the other section rejected the committee.

A disagreement has arisen between the leaders and activists of Narayanganj District and Metropolitan Hefajat Islam. Also the two sides are facing each other.

Talking to the Hefazat leaders and activists, it is known that the Narayanganj District and Metropolis Hefazate Islam Committee was announced in a representative conference on the second floor of Bagezannat Mosque in the city on October 4. Maulana Junaid Al Habib, Senior Joint Secretary General of Hefazat Islam and Dhaka Metropolitan President announced this committee.

Mufti Monir Hossain Kasemi is the president of Narayanganj district Hefazte Islam and ABM Sirajul Mamun is the general secretary. Along with this, Mufti Harunur Rashid is the president and Maulana Mir Ahmadullah is the general secretary of the Committee of Metropolitan Hefazte Islam.

In this regard, Maulana Junaid Al Habib said, for the time being, we have announced the name of the president and general secretary of Narayanganj District and Metropolitan Hefazat. Later, the concerned president and general secretary will announce the names of other members of the committee through the media. I hope that through them Hefazet Islam will become a strong organization in Narayanganj.

But immediately after the announcement of this committee, there was an adverse reaction from the leaders and activists of the other part of Hefazat Islam. They discussed among themselves in various ways that they would not accept this committee. Also, many announced their resignations.

In continuation of that, on the afternoon of October 5, an exchange meeting was organized with the leaders and activists of a part of Hefazat under the banner of the leading scholars of Narayanganj on the second floor of Ukilpara Mosque in the city. And from this discussion meeting, the new committee was officially announced to be rejected.

Ameer Maulana Abdul Qadir, Central Naib of Hefazte Islam Bangladesh, said, "We officially rejected this committee." The people of Narayanganj do not accept this committee, they cannot accept it. This commitee cannot be made up of controversial people.

At the same time, ABM Sirajul Mamun, who got the post of general secretary of the district's new committee, rejected his title and said that Maulana Abdul Awal Sahib, a well-respected scholar of Narayanganj, was excluded from the main duties of the district committee and the opinion of the leading scholars of the district and the metropolis was ignored. Therefore, I strongly condemn and protest the declaration of Narayanganj district and metropolitan custody committee and reject this committee.

Earlier on September 27 in Narayanganj, there was a clash between two groups during the Hefazate Islam procession. The incident took place in front of DIT Central Railway Jame Masjid in the city after Friday prayers. For about ten minutes there was shouting and fighting between the Hefazat leaders and activists. And without resolving all these issues, a new committee has been announced.
