N'ganj gas cylinder blast: 2 burn victims die at SHNIBPS

Two people, who sustained burn injuries in a gas cylinder blast at Aliganj area in Fotulla of Narayanganj on Sunday morning, died at a hospital in the capital.
The deceased were identified as Jaj Miah, 50, and Alam Hossain, 40.
Jaj Miah died at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (SHNIBPS) around 8:00 am on Monday morning while Alam succumbed to his injuries on Sunday night at the hospital, said Perth Shankar Pal, a resident surgeon of the institute .
Others injured are now receiving treatment at several hospitals including Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), he said.
Earlier, at least 10 people, including a child, suffered injuries as a gas cylinder of a vehicle exploded in the area at 9:00am.
