The monthly development coordination meeting of Bauphal Upazila Parishad in Patuakhali were held on Thursday in the Upazila Parishad hall room.
The meeting was presided over by UNO. Aminul Islam.
Among those who spoke were Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Abdur Rauf, Agriculture Officer Milon Mia, Women Affairs Officer Jesmin Akter, Sub-Assistant Engineer Humayun Ahmed, and Bauphal Police Station Officer-in-Charge Akhtaruzzaman Sarkar, along with secretaries from various Union Parishads.
In the meeting, UNO Aminul Islam directed that a list be prepared promptly detailing the damage caused by the recent floods to educational institutions, houses, and internal roads, and that it be sent to the concerned authorities without delay. He also assured that necessary steps would be taken to address the damage to seedbeds caused by the floods.
Officials from various government departments and public representatives were present at the meeting.
