In the dark of night, the 'terrorists' have occupied the land of Rajdahani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK) with an area of about two bighas worth Tk 400 crore.

The land is located next to the Rajuk Employees Commercial Complex on the Dhaka-Mymensingh road in Uttara of the capital. A long time ago that land was allotted by Rajuk in the name of Rajuk Employees Multipurpose Cooperative Society. There was a filling station called Cosmo Filling Station. In this incident, the treasurer of the association, Romajjal Hossain Khan, made a general diary (GD) at the Uttara West Police Station on Friday.

It is known that Gazi A. used to rent the filling station from the association. A man named Rob. The association did not renew the contract when the contract expired in early 2023. In this incident. When Rob filed a writ case in the court, the court gave a moratorium on that place. On April 6, 2023, the Executive Magistrate sealed the place and installed a brick and tin security fence and CCTV cameras.

It is mentioned in the GD, "In the early hours of September 6, Manjur Rahman, an Ansar member engaged in the security work of the Rajuk Employee Commercial Complex, called and informed that some people were breaking the tin fence and angle of the security fence of the pump. At 10 a.m. in the playback of the CCTV camera of the association's office, at 6 a.m. some people tried to break the CCTV camera installed at the petrol pump. It can be seen in the video footage, the previous expired tenant Gazi A. Rob's brother Nasir, Rob's daughter and Rob's son-in-law vandalized the pump with some outsiders.'

Shafiullah Babu, General Secretary of Rajuk Employees' Association, said without commenting that the incident has been mentioned in the GD. There is nothing more to say.

Uttara West police station sub-inspector Suman Chandra Das, investigating officer of GD, said that proper action will be taken after investigation.
