Popular actor Mehazabien Chowdhury, who has won the hearts of millions with her fabulous performance, has announced her second film ‘Priyo Maloti’.

The actor will appear as “Priyo Maloti” on the big screen under the direction of Shankh Dasgupta. The film, jointly produced by Frame Per Second and Chorki, will be released in theatres this year.

This was disclosed at a grand birthday celebration of Mehazabien Chowdhury arranged by Chorki at a five-star hotel in the capital on Friday.

Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Ashfaque Nipun, Elita Karim, producer of Frame Per Second Adnan Al Rajeeb, Chief Executive Officer of Chorki Redwan Roni, Director Shankh Dasgupta, among others were, present on the occasion.

At the programme, Adnan Al Rajeeb said, “Producing is a bit different for me. It is not just about investing money. It’s actually being with the creative, who will be the target group, what will the story be like, working on the release of the movie. It’s a whole process. I wanted to stay with the process. And secondly, the movie ‘Priyo Maloti’ has contained unique story line. Everyone loves this story when Shankh (director) shares it with us. We have never seen such a story. Also Mehazabien’s association with this movie has added another dimension to this movie.”

“Being able to be with this movie is very emotional for me. Every movie is special. The joy of making a movie with close people is beyond words. A great team including talented director, talented actress has been associated with this movie. It is now waiting for us to reach the audience in the cinema hall”, Chorki’s CEO Redwan Roni shared his feelings in this way.

Director Shankha Dasgupta said, “Filmmaking always seems to be a difficult task for me. Butthe two producers of ‘Priyo Maloti’ have made it easy for me. I only thought about the production and the story. It is also a pleasure to direct an actress like Mehazabien. Gratitude to all those who worked in front and behind the camera of this movie.”

The shooting of this movie took place around September-October last year. The shooting was held at different places of the country including Dhaka and Barisal.

Actors Nader Chowdhury, Shahjahan Samrat, Rizvi Riju and many others will be seen in the movie along with Mehazabien.
