Man slaughtered at Bhasan Char Rohingya camp

A man was slaughtered allegedly by miscreants at Bhasan Char Rohingya camp under Noakhali's Hatiya upazila on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Md Sultan, 55, a resident of cluster no 78 at Bhasan Char camp.
Quoting locals, Bhasan Char Police Station sub-inspector Nur Hossain said son of the deceased spotted the body in the afternoon and started shouting.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Noakhali Sadar Hospital for an autopsy.
Efforts were underway to mystery of the death, the SI added.
