Literary Fair held in Narsingdi

District Literary Fair was held in Narsingdi through various programmes on Wednesday.
The program included opening ceremony, essay reading, writer's workshop and cultural programme.
Under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and in coordination with the Bangla Academy, the district administration organized the fair at the district Shilpakala Academy auditorium.
Monirul Alam, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Culture inaugurated the fair by cutting the ribbon and blowing balloons as the chief guest at 10:30 am.
Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Abu Naeem. Bangla Academy Deputy Director Imrul Yusuf gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the discussion organized under the chairmanship of Maruf Khan.
Professor Kalam Mahmud in drama, Professor Golam Mostafa Mia in literature and Professor Mohsin Khondkar in poetry-rhyme-poetry literature presented essays in the discussion session respectively.
Additional Superintendent of Police Samsul Arefin, District Awami League General Secretary Pirzada Mohammad Ali, former Principal of Narsingdi Government College and District Anti-Corruption Committee President Professor Mohammad Ali, brave freedom fighter Abdul Motalib Pathan, Dr. Moshiur Rahman Mridha and others.
