LGED chief pays tributes to Bangabandhu, discussion on Independence Day held

Chief Engineer of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) Md. Ali Akhtar Hossain paid tributes to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at LGED Headquarters on Tuesday on Independence Day with due dignity.
LGED officials and employees were present.
Later, a discussion meeting was held in Engineer Kamrul Islam Siddique Auditorium with LGED Chief Engineer Md. Ali Akhtar Hossain in the chair .
In the discussion meeting, the chief engineer respectfully remembered Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of the Bengali nation for a thousand years. He said that it was on his call that the vast masses of the country participated in the War of Liberation.
The country became independent after nine months of bloody war. He also remembered those who were martyred in the great Liberation War.
Md. Kamrul Ahsan, Additional Chief Engineer of LGED gave a welcome speech in the discussion meeting. LGED Additional Chief Engineer Gopal Krishna Debnath, Md. Enamul Haque, Supervising Engineer Md. Salim Mia, Md. Jasim Uddin, Project Director Md. Amirul Islam Khan, Md. Aminur Rashid Chowdhury Masud, Md. Mamunur Rashid, Naima Nazneen Naj and Executive Engineer Md. Ataur also spoke. Rahman LGED Additional Chief Engineer, Supervising Engineer, Project Director, Executive Engineer and all levels of LGED officials were present on the occasion.
