LGED chief engineer pays tributes to Bangabandhu at Tungipara

Chief engineer of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) Md Ali Akhtar Hossain today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
After laying the wreath, the engineer stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation.
Later, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975.
A special prayer was also offered seeking longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members.
The engineer also signed the visitors' book at the Tungipara Mausoleum Complex.
Executive Engineer of Gopalganj LGED Md Ehsanul Haque, Upazila Engineers of Gopalganj Sadar, Tungipara, Kotalipara, Kashiani and Muksudpur upazilas, and other officials and employees of LGED, among others, were present.
