 A monthly meeting on law and order and coordination meeting of upazila parishad was held on Tuesday noon in Nakla upazila of Sherpur district. The two meetings were held at the upazila parishad auditorium.

The meetings organized by the upazila administration. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Bulbul Ahmed presided over the meeting at upazila auditorium.

Joint secretary of the upazila AL and upazila chairman Shah Md Burhan Uddin present as the chief guest who the chief adviser of the law and order committee.

 FF Shafqul Islam Zinnah GS of upazila AL, adviser of the law and order committee Mohammad Saroar Alam Talukder vice-chairman of upazila parishad, Mst Farida Yasmin female vice-chairman of upazila parished, Joint secretary of the upazila AL and municipal mayor Hafizur Rahman Liton, upazila health and FP officer Dr Mohammad Golam Mostafa, Officer-in Charge (Investigation) of Nakla police station Eskandar Habib spoke as the special guest.

FF Golam Rabbani chairman of Charashtadhar UP and vice-president of district AL, Abdus Salam chairman of Pathakata UP, Abu Bakar Siddique Farooq chairman of Nakla UP, Mazharul Anwar Mohabbat chairman of Baneshwardi UP and secretary of science and technology of upazila AL, Mohammad Noore Alam Talukder Bhutto chairman of Urfa UP also spoke.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held to maintain law and order in the upazila. Besides, the heads of different departments of the upazila informed everyone about the progress of their official work and sought their cooperation. The chairmen of different UPs of the upazila informed on the steps required to serve the people of their respective unions and to solve various problems.

Other hand, upazila parishad monthly coordination meeting was held at the same place. Upazila parishad chairman Shah Md Burhan Uddin parishad over the monthly coordination meeting.

All the members of the upazila law and order committee, members of upazila parishad coordination committee, leaders of Nakla Press Club, chairmen of different union parishads and others attended the meeting.
