Laptops distributed to 131 govt primary schools in Baniachong

Laptops have been distributed to 131 government primary schools of Baniachong Upazila under the Fourth Primary Development Program (PEDP-4) with the motto "Quality Primary Education, Smart Bangladesh Garar Diksha".
On Sunday (March 26) at 12:00 noon in Upazila Parishad hall under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Padmasan Singh and the moderator of Sujit Deb, manager of Palli Accumik Bank, MP of Habiganj-2 Constituency and President of Parliamentary Standing Committee Alhaj Advocate Abdul Majid Khan distributed laptops as the chief guest.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Abul Kashem Chowdhury, Vice Chairman Farooq Amin, Women Vice Chairman Hasina Akter, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nazmul Hasan, Upazila Press Club President SM Khokon, Secondary Education Officer Samsul Alam, Primary Education Officer Kabirul Islam spoke as special guests. Teacher Arun Kumar Das and others.
MP Majid Khan said in the speech of the chief guest at the laptop break ceremony, we may be poor but not wealthy. The present government came to power and formulated the education policy, as a result of which now madrasa students can become doctors and engineers. Government is playing a leading role in education by providing laptops to educational institutions. The current government is working to improve the quality of life of the people.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working day and night for the welfare of the country. We are working to move the country forward under the leadership of the Prime Minister.
MP Majid Khan also said that laptop is not just a device for listening to music or watching movies, but it is a device through which knowledge of the whole world can be connected with science.
He urged the students to make themselves suitable for the future workplace through this laptop.
At the end of the ceremony, the chief guest and other leaders welcomed 68 newly recruited assistant teachers in different government primary schools of Baniachong upazila with flowers.
