On the occasion of the firsr anniversary of the historic July Mass Uprising, a drawing competition and prize distribution ceremony for the children of members was held at the auditorium of the National Press Club at 11:00 AM on Tuesday .
The event was presided over by National Press Club President Hasan Hafiz.
About 50 children of club members participated in the competition. In Group A, Sandhiha Jahan Diba secured first place, Radita Jahan came second, and Muhaimin Al Aiman placed third. In Group B, Rudmila Haque Priyonti came first, Naushin Anjum second, and Saiyyida Mariyam Binte Sadi third.
The event was conducted by Sports Sub-Committee Convener Shahinaz Begum Polly.
Mnagement Committee members Kazi Rawnak Hossain, Kader Gani Chowdhury, Masumur Rahman Khalili, A.K.M. Mohsin, and President of Dhaka Union of Journalists Mohammad Shahidul Islam. Members of the Sports Sub-Committee were also in attendance.
