JU Mowlana Bhashani Hall first re-union held

Current and former students of Mowlana Bhashani Hall (MBH) of Jahangirnagar University (JU) organized its first reunion titled ‘Prothom Punormilon Utsab 2023’ on the campus on Friday amid joy and festivities.
JU Vice Chancellor(VC) Prof Nurul Alam inaugurated the daylong programme by hoisting the national flag and blowing up colorful balloons around 10:30am at the hall premises.
After the inauguration, a colorful rally was brought out from the hall premises and ended at the same place.
More than one thousand former and current students participated in the rally.
The daylong programme features colorful rally, games for the kids, photo session, raffle draw, flying lanterns, cultural ceremonies, games between current and former and current students, reminiscing session, cultural ceremonies, band show, and felicitations ceremony for the guests.
Presided over by the convener of the reunion celebration committee Sheikh Md. Nuruzzaman, Pro-VC(Administration) Prof Sheikh Md. Monzurul Huq, Proctor Prof A S M Firoz Ul Hasan, Provost of the hall Prof Hossain Md. Sayem, former and current students, were present, among others.
