IT Job Fair held in Rangpur

With the aim of making students qualified to face the challenges of the 21st century, creating skilled manpower according to the needs of the time through hands-on experience and providing employment to the students,

A workshop was organized by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board affiliated Institute of Engineering and Technology, Rangpur, with the students at Shalbon Mistripara area of the city on Thursday.

In the workshop, with the students of civil, computer, electronic, mechanical, wet processing fabric manufacturing department of the institution, stalls were set up by 16 reputed industrial institutions of the country to ensure the employment of the final year diploma holders after the workshop.

In these stalls, resumes of suitable candidates are accepted and oral tests are taken.

Bangladesh Technical Education Board Chairman Mohammad Ali Akbar Khan was the chief guest in the workshop on this occasion. Technical Education Board Deputy Director (Course

Accreditation) SM Shahjahan, Rangpur Metropolitan Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohidul Islam (PPM) were the special guests. Under the chairmanship of the Institute's Principal M. Shamim Kaiser, representatives of 15 industries related to technology along with the President of the Institute Mahbubul Alam Sarkar spoke at the event.
