International Day for Older Persons observed at JnU

International Day for Older Persons observed at Jagannath University (JnU). A seminar was organised in this regard by the social work department of the university on Sunday (October 1) in the virtual classroom of the CSE department.
The acting Vice-Chancellor (Routine Duties) and Treasurer of the University, Professor Dr. Kamaluddin Ahmad, was present as the chief guest of the seminar. He said that We need to have a moral obligation towards our elders. The present government was the first to introduce an old age allowance in our country, as a result of which their standard of living became more bearable.
The programme was chaired by the chairman of the social work department, Prof. Dr. Rajina Sultana, while the Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology, Pirojpur, Kazi Saifuddin, was present as a special guest.
Teachers and students from various departments of the university were present at the event.
