Inter-departmental and inter-hall cricket starts at IU

Islamic University Inter Department and Inter Hall (Student) Cricket Competition 2024 has started. The competition was inaugurated on Tuesday (February 27) at 9 am at the cricket ground. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Sheikh Abdus Salam, present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman the special guest. Physical Education and Education Department Director (Acting) Shah Alam presided over the meeting.
Conducted by Sheikh Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Director of Physical Education and Education Department.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr.Sheikh Abdus Salam was present as the chief guest said, "Players are our wealth. Through them our acquaintance will go further. He also said, there will be wins and losses in the game. Players are expected to demonstrate sportsmanship through their sportsmanlike behavior on the field of play."
Incidentally, in the opening game, the EEE department defeated the Social Welfare Department by 25 runs.
