Inhuman torture of woman by brother-in-law in Keraniganj

A sensational incident took place in Ward No. 5, West Barishur village of Kalindi Union in Kernniganj recently.
A woman has been thrown out from her house after being brutally tortured by her brother-in-law and his co-family members.
According to the police and local sources, the woman named Suma Begum was cleaning the house with a mason when the kitchen house got jammed at around 5 pm recently.
At that time, his brother-in-law Shahzada and his wife, along with their three sons, prevented them from working with the family and brutally abused her.
When Suma Begum protested, they entered into the house and brutally beat her. At that time, Suma Begum's mother-in-law and her uncle-in-law were also beaten.
When the residents of the area gathered in this incident, Shahzada and her co-family Suma Begum and her mother-in-law were dragged out of the house by the hair and thrown to the ground and beaten and injured.
Despite the locals' resistance, they continued the torture. Later, Suma Begum and her mother-in-law were thrown out of the house with the intervention of local people.
Locals strongly protested this incident and demanded immediate legal action.
Suma Begum and her family filed a police complaint.
Police visited the spot and started investigation.
