Imprisonment or fine if Aedes larvae found at any establishment: Atiqul Islam

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam has issued a warning of imprisonment or fines if larvae of Aedes mosquitoes are found at any establishments in the city corporation area.
“Strict penalties, including imprisonment or fines, will be enforced from 27 April, if Aedes mosquito larvae are found at any home or office in the DNCC area,” warned the mayor while inaugurating a month-long campaign to prevent dengue in Mirpur Rupnagar area of Dhaka on Monday.
