Housewife's body found in Gaibandha's Sundarganj

According to her husband's confession in Gaibandha's Sundarganj Upazila, police have recovered the body of a missing housewife named Ashamani (28) from under the canal.
Housewife Ashamani has been missing since the evening of June 16.
The deceased was identified as Asha Moni, wife of Kabir Mandal of Dulal village under Kanchibari union of the upazila.
The body was recovered from the local Manoranjan canal on Thursday, June 23 at noon. Sundarganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Aziz confirmed the matter.
He said a missing general diary was kept at the police station in this regard. At one stage of the investigation, Asha's husband Kabir was arrested and later remanded. And according to his confession and show, the molten body of Ashamani was recovered from the bottom of the local Manoranjan canal.
