HAU VC pays tributes on Independence Day

Dr. Md. Abdul Baset, Vice-Chancellor of Habiganj Agricultural University (HAU), paid tribute to the heroic sons of the nation on the occasion of the Independence Day.
On Sunday at 8 am, the Vice-Chancellor laid a wreath on the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the temporary campus of Habiganj Agricultural University in Vadoi area of Habiganj Sadar Upazila.
Expressing his respect for all the heroic martyrs of the 1971 Liberation War, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md. Abdul Baset said, "In this moment of Independence Day, Habiganj Agricultural University is working towards the construction of a prosperous, self-reliant, and dignified Golden Bangladesh, as envisioned by the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, by upholding the consciousness and ideals of the great Liberation War."
It is worth mentioning that Habiganj Agricultural University has already admitted students under three faculties. The university's academic activities are scheduled to begin after the upcoming Eid.
