Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) in Gopalganj, the batch admission test of commerce branch under 'C' unit of 2023-24 academic year has been successfully completed. With this, this year's batch admission test program has ended.

Today, Friday (10 May 2024), the examination was held at the university center from 11 am to 12 pm. Commerce Branch (C Unit) had 89.08 percent attendance rate in this examination. 351 students participated in the admission test out of 394 applicants.

At 11:20 minutes during the examination, the vice-chancellor of the university. A. Q. M. Mahbub visited the examination center. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. was present at the time. Syed Samsul Alam, treasurer freedom fighter professor. Md. Mubarak Hossain, Registrar. Dalilur Rahman, member of admission examination committee and media workers.

After the visit, the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A. Q. M. Mahbub said that, the last day of the admission test for the academic year 2023-24 has been completed smoothly. In the examination program held periodically for three days, teachers-officials-employees did not face any kind of admission fraud or unpleasant incident due to the proper performance of their duties and the help of the members of the law and order forces.

On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor expressed his gratitude to those involved in the examination process and said that various social organizations have worked in addition to the university administration to provide comprehensive services to the aspirants and their parents during these three days of the admission examination. He expressed optimism that they will have spontaneous participation in the coming days as well.

Incidentally, in the current academic year, a total of 3 lakh 5 thousand 346 applications were received in three units in the honors first year admission test of the 24 universities in the cluster. Among them, 1,570 out of 1,746 applicants for science branch held on April 27 at the university center, 2,171 out of 2,341 applicants for humanities admission examination on May 3 participated in the examination. The average attendance rate in the three units is 90.57 percent.
